Our Christmas holiday has ended. David summed it up well on the way home from church. He said it is bitter sweet. Good-bye to sleeping late, playing all day long, watching TV in the middle of the day, keeping you new toys out of the closet at night, lighting the Christmas tree at 5pm and Christmas cookies with breakfast. Hello to waking up before the sun, multiplication tables, prepositional phrases, ancient history, no TV until all school work and chores are complete, empty rooms, putting away your toys and oatmeal for breakfast.

THe kids perspective of Christmas ending is funny! Adam ran into the bathroom when I was in the shower the other day yelling "CHRISTMAS OVER!" I, for one, was glad to see it go and go back to my uncluttered, sparsley decorated house!
